Best in Show 2015

18 April 2015 - 16 May 2015

For the 11th year running Best in Show returns to Objectspace with a new and exciting selection of works by 30 outstanding New Zealand art and design graduates from all around the country. Objectspace received an amazing 70 applications from students of 12 tertiary institutions.

Best in Show 2015 is the first public presentation of these future leaders of the craft and design sector whose work spans ceramics, furniture, jewellery, industrial design, garments, textiles, product design, lighting, sculpture and even a bespoke chair for gamers. The selected works are all unique, innovative and functional. A springboard for their new careers in the field, Best in Show offers a chance for these makers to showcase their work in a public gallery and offers valuable professional development opportunities.

Best in Show 2015 provides a snapshot of New Zealand’s best up and coming designers and is a yearly highlight on the Objectspace calendar. Previous Best in Show exhibitors have quickly gone on to achieve international recognition. This New Zealands most comprehensive opportunity to talent-spot the next generation of leading craft and design practitioners.
