These all-stars of Aotearoa’s type community will share insights into their respective practices and noteworthy recent projects.

Alistair McCready (PDINZ) is an Aotearoa born designer, writer and typographer. His work has been recognised through various awards and accolades from both local and international institutions. In 2022 he was named an Ascender by the Type Directors Club of New York.
As Creative Director of Onfire Design in Takapuna, Matt Grantham oversees the design team and all creative work going through the studio. Recent work has garnered international recognition, with Onfire being acknowledged in World Brand Society's global Top 10 agency list 2018/19, 2019/20 through to 2020/21. He is a professional member of the New Zealand Designers Institute, speaker for Design Assembly and FMCG Magazine Marketing Summit.
Anthony Hos is a designer, typographer and hand letterer from Aotearoa. He is a partner and design director at Milk and drives Milk Type Foundry. During the course of his career, Anthony has been the recipient of numerous local and international awards and was named as an Ascender by the New York Type Directors Club in 2019 for his work with type & lettering. He has been described as being able to think laterally and craft beautifully and thrives on bringing both brand and type to life through bold simplicity with a strong idea at the heart of everything he does.

This event is staged as part of the World’s Best Typography exhibition coming to Objectspace.
This Type Directors Club project will exhibit at the gallery from Saturday 27 – Monday 29 Aug 2022 and is spearheaded by creative agency Osborne Shiwan and sponsored by Klim Type Foundry.
