The Women of Hope Market will bring together makers from the Congolese community in Auckland to sell handmade goods.

The market day takes place alongside the exhibition Mulame by Lema Shamamba, embroidered textiles set within the Congo landscape. Lema's community will join her in taking part in the event.

Women of Hope is comprised of local West Auckland women who have worked with a team from the Ranui Action Project to realise their goals of self-determination, further education and a future for their families.
