Announcing a new space for architecture in Ōtautahi Christchurch: Objectspace at Sir Miles Warren Gallery
Objectspace is coming to Ōtautahi in March 2023
Announcing Objectspace at Sir Miles Warren Gallery, 65 Cambridge Terrace. A new home for architecture in Ōtautahi Christchurch.
We’re excited to be launching a programme of architecture focussed exhibitions from Thursday 16 March 2023 in the former home, work place and gallery of architect Sir Miles Warren.
The Warren Trust has generously gifted the use of the gallery space with the support of its current tenants, Te Kahui Whaihanga NZIA Canterbury Branch and Athfield Architects. This offer will enable Objectspace to scale our programme to two cities and two venues. And what a remarkable second venue to have, designed in Sir Miles' iconic style and nestled beside his renowned garden.
This would not be possible without the support of The Warren Trust, Christchurch City Council, Cemac Commercial Interiors, Te Kāhui Whaihanga New Zealand Institute of Architects and Karen & Hamish Doig.
We'll launch in March with the Ōtautahi showing of Oceanic Architectural Routes: The photographic archive of Mike Austin, presented by Architectus.
Keep an eye on our emails and social media channels for your invitation to visit and attend public programming.
We can’t wait to see you there.
