Last week a crowd of design lovers gathered at Objectspace for the sold out 2024 edition of Design Lives HERE, our special event with Here Magazine presented by Cemac Commercial Interiors. 

In talking about their adored and coveted objects, our speakers shared stories of family, friendship, vocation and love – all illustrating the impact of design on how we live, and who we are.

We learnt that a pinball machine is actually quite architectural, how well a watch passed through generations of women keeps time, and much more.

Our cocktail bar was powered by Waiheke Distillery Co, pouring two bespoke cocktails – the Covet Martini with Horopito Spice Vodka and the Beloved Spritz with Red Ruby Gin.

And glasses of Black Estate natural wine floated around the crowd alongside Liberty Brewing beers and Almighty and Good Sh*t quenchers.
