This ambitious book brings together an international selection of recent writing by educators and practitioners who question the rules and hierarchies of graphic design education today. It seeks to hold a mirror up to the ways in which graphic design is imagined, taught, received, and reproduced.

One and Many Mirrors emerged from The Physics Room's exhibition project (Graphic) Design School School (2014), led by two designer-educators, Luke Wood and Brad Haylock. Assembled by Brad and Luke in the years following the project, together these texts comprise an overview of the field of contemporary graphic design education for those concerned with its past, present, and possible futures.

The Physics Room is proud to be the Aotearoa publisher for One and Many Mirrors, alongside the European publisher, Occasional Papers.
