Recognised for her significant contribution to the wearable arts in New Zealand, Holmes' work has spanned the fields of craft, fashion and fabric art. An innovative practitioner, she developed her own original methods for block printing, stencilling and spraying fabrics, dyeing and fabric manipulation.
